About UsAccurate Pattern HistoryAccurate Pattern & Model, Inc. was started by brothers Bruce and Brian Williams in February 1985. It was located in Bruce's basement and garage. Bruce and Brian had both obtained journeyman status in patternmaking at previous employment. Their father is a patternmaker and was important in the development of their trade. Accurate Pattern supplied its first customers with precision patterns for urethane molded and plaster cast aluminum parts. For a short time in 1985/86 Bruce and Brian accepted employment at Premold Corporation and Accurate Pattern's equipment was moved there. Then, in 1986, Accurate Pattern was incorporated, with Bruce Williams as President, and moved back to the garage. In May of 1987, with 6 employees, Accurate Pattern moved to its first separate location at 4525 North 127th Street in Butler, Wisconsin. In November of 1987, Accurate Pattern obtained its first CNC machine and in 1988 a second one was purchased. The business continued to grow and in September of 1988, Accurate Pattern moved to a 5200 square foot facility at 12675 West Townsend Street in Brookfield, WI. At that time Accurate Pattern employed 8 people. Late in 1990, Accurate Pattern branched to a second plant in Minnesota, which Brian Williams headed. In 1991 Accurate Pattern expanded its capabilities and business with a CAD/CAM work station. The Minnesota branch of Accurate Pattern became an independent company when Brian formed Eagle Pattern & Model, Inc. in 1992. Accurate Pattern added more CNC machines in to meet the demands of the business. The company employed 14 people by 1997. Accurate Pattern continued to be on the cutting edge of technology by adding more CAD/CAM work stations including Unigraphics, Solidworks, and Delcam PowerSHAPE & PowerMILL software. They offered inspection and digitzing service with the installation of a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) running PCDMIS and then Delcam PowerINSPECT software. Further service expansion included in-house vacuum forming, and large pattern, tool, & plug making for the fiberglass, vacuum forming, and marine industries. This included spray paint finishing with Duratec polyester, automotive urethane, and industrial Polane products for production and visual finishes. In 2002 the company shortened its name to Accurate Pattern, Inc. to better match the variety of services they offered. They updated their logo to reflect the companies state-of-the-art equipment and processes. By 2006, due to increases in business and product mix, Accurate Pattern added shop space with a large construction finishing area and paint booth. In November of 2007, Accurate Pattern moved to its current location at 12833 W Glendale Ave, Butler, WI. The plant is 19,000 square feet of shop/office plus 5,000 of useable mezzanine. The new facility is arranged with efficiency and flow of work in mind. Click here for driving directions.
